When will my order ship?

Because most items are build to order, we typically ship orders within 3-5 business days. We ship using UPS Ground for all orders. If you require a rush order you will need to contact us directly. Please contact us directly at 858-225-1889 from 8am-4:30pm PST or send us an email at for any questions regarding order status or ship dates.

P.O. Box Shipping Policy

We unfortunately do not offer shipping to Post Office boxes.

PayPal, Apple Pay and most major credit cards are accepted for payment.

We Accept Tax Exempt Customers

We can set you up to order online if your company or organization qualifies for tax exempt status. Some examples include local or state municipalities, US government agencies, educational institutions or resellers. Before ordering you must register an account on and then email your tax exempt document to We will complete the set up and let you know when it is OK to go ahead and order.

Customers Located Outside the United States

At this time we are currently unable to offer online web ordering to customers with shipping addresses outside the United States through this website. Orders shipping outside the United States can however be placed by phone (858) 225-1889, or via email Orders shipping outside of the United States may be subject to order minimums or additional processing charges.

Reotemp Compost Store Returns and Refunds

REOTEMP stands behind it's products and will handle your return or replacement in a timely manner. For all returns, a return authorization is required. To obtain a return authorization please contact REOTEMP's customer service at (858) 225-1889 8am-4:30pm PST M-F or to begin the return or replacement process.

Amazon Returns and Refunds

For products purchased through Amazon, please contact Amazon during the Amazon return period (typically 30 days). Amazon customer service can be contacted at (888) 280-4331 or start a return by going to your Amazon order history and selecting return. If the product is outside of Amazon's return window you can then contact us for assistance at (858) 225-1889 8am-4:30pm PST M-F or Please have your Amazon order ID ready, this can be found in your order history or on your Amazon receipt email.

Products Damaged in Transit

If your product was damaged during shipping or delivery contact, do not accept the package. The shipping carrier will then return the product to REOTEMP and we will contact you. If you didn't notice the damage until after the package was delivered, contact REOTEMP for a return authorization.

Pricing & Promotions

While we do try to ensure the pricing on our website is up to date, all pricing is subject to change without notice. Contact REOTEMP with any questions. We reserve the right to deny the use of discount codes or disallow the use of discount codes in certain situations.

Privacy & Security

Reotemp respects the privacy of our customers and would never sell your information to a third party.  Our shopping cart is protected by a SSL certification and all credit card information is encrypted and processed by, PayPal, google checkout, or another trusted partner.

REOTEMP Compost Products Warranty

We warrant all compost products and accessories against defective materials or workmanship under normal use and service for 1 year following the date of shipment. This warranty does not cover exposure to corrosive materials, temperatures in excess of those recommended, excessive vibration, or forces or abrasions that cause bending or unsealing of the case or stem. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping product(s) to and from Reotemp’s factory for assessment and repair. Reotemp guarantees the products will perform within the cataloged performance specifications if used within specified parameters. Determination of defect or failure will be made by Reotemp or at a certified test facility. Warranty is limited to replacement of the unit or repair of the unit at the factory. This warranty is expressly in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied, and of all other obligations or liability on our part for damages, including but not limited to, consequential damages arising out of use or misuse of our instruments, and we neither assume nor authorize anyone to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our instruments or sensors. Suitability of the product for the customer’s application rests with the customer; Reotemp does not warranty suitability of its product(s) for the application selected by the customer. Reotemp reserves the right to make product improvements and change product specifications at any time without notification. Reotemp Compost offers certifications across select product lines.

Certificate of Conformance: A certificate of conformance is documentation that the Reotemp product you ordered meets Reotemp specifications and was calibrated with NIST traceable equipment at our facility. A printed certificate is shipped with the product.

Certificate of Calibration: A certificate of calibration is a more detailed calibration and documentation by a technician at our facility. It includes documentation of a specific logged calibration point as chosen by Reotemp and a sticker certifying calibration of an instrument with NIST traceable equipment. A printed certificate is shipped with the product.
